Croatian Defense Industry Competitiveness Cluster in support to Croatian Ministry of Defense and Croatian Defence Academy “Dr. Franjo Tuđman” – NATO STO AVT Panel (Applied Vechicle Technology)
Croatian competitiveness cluster of defense industry provided official support to the Croatian Ministry of Defense and Croatian Defence Academy “Dr. Franjo Tuđman” in supporting activites and requested tasks under the NATO STO AVT (Applied Vechicle Technology) Panel. Cluster coordinated the meeting with key members that could respond to the tasks within this Panel, and on March 13 2017, the official meeting was convened with all key stakeholders who may fall under the area of AVT (Applied Vechicle Technology). Conveyed meeting successfully gathered key stakeholders such: Adria-Mar Ltd., DOK-ING ltd., Mechanical Engineering Faculty in Slavonski Brod, RIS MARINE ltd., Duro Dakovic Special Vehicles Ltd., Technical Faculty Rijeka, SCAM-Marine ltd., Faculty of mechanical engineering and naval architecture Zagreb, and Institute Ruder Boskovic Zagreb. The meeting presented opportunity and knowledge to identified stakeholders about the work and duties of the Ministry of Defense and the Croatian Defence Academy within AVT Panel, the possibilities that this Panel and active participation provide to Croatia and stakeholders of this sector and methodology and process of potential development project applications within the NATO STO AVT (Applied Vechicle Technology) Panel. The meeting was led by the authorized representative of the Republic of Croatia within the NATO STO AVT Panel, Brigadier Mirko Jakopčić.
At the end of the meeting stakeholder jointly defined future steps and activities within the involvement in NATO STO AVT Panel, agreed on a timetable of activities for the application of potential development projects. All stakeholders expressed their future interest and satisfaction for this type of initiatives and efforts provided by Croatian competitiveness cluster of defense industry.
